Artane (Trihexyphenidyl) is an antispasmodic drug that is used to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Artan has antispasmodic properties, has an inhibitory effect on the parasympathetic nervous system, and relaxes smooth muscles. Artan is particularly suitable for reducing depression and reduced mental health syndrome. Unlike atropine, Artan does not contribute to the development of glaucoma, which is why it is especially effective for the treatment of atherosclerotic parkinsonism.

Artane (Trihexyphenidyl)  is not recommended to use if you have:
Glaucoma (increased intraocular pressure),
ibrillation (chaotic contractions) of the atria of the heart,
